6 Month Process Instrument Operator (Oil & Gas) Course
Familiarization & Calibration of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical measuring and control equipment.
Familiarization & Calibration of electrical and electronic measuring and control equipment.
Manual, electrical and PLC Control of pneumatic & hydraulic components and equipments.
Familiarization of DCS hardware Architecture.
Carry out maintenance activities on instrumentation and control equipments viz control valves, DP transmitters, temperature gauges, temperature switches, gas detectors, I/P converters, pressure gauges etc.
Custody transfer metering by various techniques.
Monitoring of various parameters like temperature, flow, level etc. using Data Acquisition System (DAS), Human Machine Interface (HMI), SCADA, SMART Transmitters etc.
Use basic health and safety practices at the workplace.
Work effectively with others.
Employability and entrepreneurship skills.
*Yoga training will be conducted before the start morning session.
